Installation and Activation
- It is recommended that you close all programs before you begin installation.
- When installation is complete, you should restart your machine.
- It is recommended to install PeaceMaker on an account with administrative privileges. All users, both administrative and non-administrative, will be able to access the game this way.
- On most home computers the person who set up the machine will have an administrative account.
- If PeaceMaker is installed on a limited (non-administrative) account, only the current user will have access. A limited account may exist on a machine with multiple different users. Contact your system administrator for additional information.
- To activate your copy of PeaceMaker, you must be online and have access to http://www.peacemakergame.com. This is only required the first time you play PeaceMaker. Once activated, you will NOT need an Internet connection.
- Make sure your serial number is entered accurately. Preferably copy and paste the serial number form the confirmation email.
- You will be prompted by the license assistant to enter a "proxy server". Unless you know what this means you probably do not need to enter anything in this field and can merely click finish to complete the process.
- The serial number will only work on one machine unless a multiple license was purchased.
- If you get the message, "Unable to get license by Serial Number", verify your network connection is active and you can access http://www.peacemakergame.com. If you cannot, contact your system administrator.
- If you see the message, "The number of allowed copies has been exceeded", then our system detects that you have already used this key. If you do not think you should see this message, contact ImpactGames support.
- Once PeaceMaker is activated for the first time, the game will start after a slight delay so please be patient. If there are any problems during the startup process, try to restart PeaceMaker by clicking on the Desktop link.
